Hand Painted Full Furniture Set

The hand painted wooden chair set of two from Kishangarh carries an enthralling picture of the royal couple riding on the back of the elephant while a royal subordinate accompanies them on the other elephant.

The chowki  & corner stand in the same design and pattern complements the chair set.

The set is detachable and can easily be stored away when not in use.

The raw materials are locally available. The wood used is babool (acacia arabica), which is brought cut to size in the market. Usually, the work involves simple construction----turning, cutting and joining. The painting is done after finishing the furniture. A varnished coat follows it to give a smooth finish to the product.
